چکیده
Cryptogenic ischemic stroke refers to a DVA for which no specific cause has been detected after adequate investigation. It is an emerging concept whose increasing frequency currently public health problem. Thus, the objective of this study was determine biochemical and hematological profiles subjects with cryptogenic stroke. This descriptive analytical patients followed at neurological clinic CHNU Fann. The included 40 matched healthy controls according sex age ±2 years. All parameters were measured Architect ci4100 (Abbott, Chicago, USA) using enzymatic techniques XN-1000 (Sysmex, France). population consisted stroke. mean our 47 ± 11 years ratio 1.35. main cardiovascular risk factors found hypertension (45%), dyslipidemia (23%) diabetes (15%). Evaluation showed significant differences in HDL-C (p

Proinflammatory genetic profiles in subjects with history of ischemic stroke.
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Proinflammatory genetic profiles, resulting from the combination of single nucleotide polymorphisms in genes encoding inflammatory molecules, may contribute to the development and progression of cardiovascular diseases. We evaluated the association between history of ischemic stroke and genetic profiles determined by the synergistic effects of polymorphisms in genes encod...
متن کاملBiochemical and Hematological Profiles of Common Carp (Cyprinus Carpio) under Sublethal Effects of Trivalent Chromium
Background: In natural waters and/or aquaculture facilities, fish are often exposed to chromium waste and demonstrate cumulative deleterious effects. To our knowledge, there are no studies concerning the effects of trivalent Cr on C. carpio hematology. This study presents hematological and some biochemical parameters of common carp, Cyprinus carpio, affected by sublethal concentration of triva...
متن کاملImplication of left ventricular diastolic dysfunction in cryptogenic ischemic stroke.
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Left ventricular diastolic dysfunction (LVDD) is a predictor for atrial fibrillation (AF). This study was aimed to investigate whether LVDD in cryptogenic ischemic stroke (CS) could be a clue to stroke mechanism. METHODS The clinical and echocardiographic findings of 1589 consecutive patients with acute ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack between 2004 and 2013 ...
متن کاملVitamin D and Ischemic Stroke
Introduction: stroke is the most important brain disease. Stroke leads to a reduction in bone density, altered calcium homeostasis, and an increase in hip fractures. Some recent studies show effects of vitamin D on stroke and vice versa. The purpose of this study was to determine of serum vitamin D levels in patients with acute stroke. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, we compared t...

background: according to the international reports, brain stroke is the main reason of death and disability. in ischemic stroke, early and precise classification of patients who may profit from conflicting finest therapeutic interference is necessary if enhanced effects in terms of survival are to be talented. due to uncomplicated, easy performance, and inexpensive method the aim of this prelim...
